Without an account

The Bento Backlog iPhone app works without an account. Without one, your library stays on your device and nothing about you is collected.

With an account

If you create an account, we store your email address and your library (the games, bentos, playthroughs and collection you add) so it can sync between your iPhone and the web. We use them only for that. We don't sell them, share them, track you or show ads, and there are no analytics.

On the web, a cookie keeps you signed in, and your settings (like the theme) are kept in your browser. Nothing else is stored.

Game information

Game details and images come from IGDB.com. When you search, your search words are sent to IGDB through our server; they aren't linked to you.

Where it's kept, and deleting it

Your data is stored with Supabase, in Singapore. You can delete your account and everything synced to it at any time: in the app (Settings › Account › Delete account) or on the web (Settings › Delete account). Your library on your iPhone stays unless you delete it there too.
